With another Friday gone by, the poker rap videos are back with two more hitting the poker sound waves. Both music videos have been contested against each other in what is an old-school battle of the rappers on the felts playing the game.
The title of the rap videos are ‘all-in’ with the lyrics spitting out the emotional moment an all-in brings to the poker tables. The first of the two rap vids comes from the World Series of Poker 2007 with a flurry of smooth talking poker clichés including ‘time to fold’, ‘are you gonna hit it’, ‘sick beat’ and more. Phil Hellmuth makes an appearance along with the second all-time WSOP bracelet winner Johnny Chan plus Layne Flack gets in the action. All three are spitting out their part of the lyrics with some entertaining hands running on the tables.
It’s pretty entertaining and also includes some roulette with the ‘red 7’ being the focus. In the end Hellmuth has J-J and somehow loses on a board that reads 9d-10d-js-9s-10s versus his opponent’s hand of 9c-10c. ‘My full house beats your dun Jacks’ comes out on the sound track, but actually Hellmuth gets the better of this one because he’s made a full house Jacks full of tens, so we’re not exactly sure how the tens full of nines can win this round! Still great to see the rappers jamming out the poker on the mic.
Check out the first vid below:

In video number two Grouch and Eligh from West Coast get ready to rough on tumble in the poker rap scene. This was always going to be a top quality bust up on the mic as these talented young rappers are a legitimate underground group with plenty of recognition for skills. On top of this, Lacey Jones brings the glamour to the screen. The one thing that could separate the two vids is the video content of the first video as Grouch and Eligh’s is just a recording studio rap. However, arguably the quality of the rapping is far superior than the first video.
Anyone that want to vote they’ll need to get onto the pokerlisting website and leave their comments. This will dish out a winner with video that gets the most positive comments on the net.

Check out the Second vid below:

It’s going to be difficult for the first video to get around the impressiveness of Grouch and Eligh. The build-up is typical of the pro rap world with some amazing rapping kicking into action. Either way this is fun way to get a poker rap video into the rap scene.
